Had an amazing stay on holiday. the room was freshly decorated with a balcony overlooking Vesuvius. - the location was amazing and beautiful, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Museum Shop of Wood Inlay.

Amazing view from the balcony over Sorrento, across to Mount Vesuvius. 5 min walk into the charming village of Sant Agata. Good sized bedrooms. Staff really friendly particularly the reception staff who really go out of their way to assist. Free shuttle bus into Sorrento a god send considering the distance (approx 8 km) and the ridiculously overpriced taxi fares!! Because of the position of the hotel (approx 300 metres) it is much cooler at the hotel than down in Sorrento. Blankets are provided in the rooms though which are needed in September.
For some reason every sound echos throughout the whole hotel. In particular any sound in the corridors or bedrooms is amplified. Breakfast coffee is truly terrible and instead of fresh juice they serve cordial. The pool bar does serve proper coffee though.

I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and recommend it to everyone. Last time I stopped, had extremely pleasant room with a balcony. The location turned out to be convenient, close enough to shops and restaurants, the Sorrento's peninsula and the Coast to Coast Bus on the Almalfi Drive.

It was quite nice, with a flair of a grand hotel. But it lacked all sorts of little details to make it one. The Reception Staff were very friendly and really helpfull. The view from the terrace and pool are very nice.
Eating in the hotel restaurant makes you feel like having a bad meal in a little sidestreet in Blackpool. Although advertised as italian and having local specialities the menu had nothing italian about it at all. The service at the restaurant was quite poor and even though Sorrento is located at the Sea there was no fresh fish on the menu. Even something as simple as dessert, (which was arranged nicely in a cart) was completely inedible. In many years of travelling in italy, I have never had a worst dinner before.

The location is good, near to all that goes around Amalfi Coast. Rooms are clean, spacious and confortable. Santa Agata village is within a 3 minutes walk and you'll find some good restaurants there.
The staff is rude and the breakfast is poor. The swimming pool closes at 6 o'clock (we cannot understand why)
